Cooking is an art. For some it is a science, for some it is worship and for some it is an opportunity to relax, unwind and just enjoy themselves. A kitchen must be bright and beautiful. If kitchen is treated as an area that does not have any kind of connection with aesthetics and is just about mechanically carrying out an activity, then it would always make for a burdened space to be in. Cooking is a lot about aesthetics; this fact must never be forgotten. There is a lot of balancing of flavors and elements which affect the way a dish is going to turn out that goes into cooking.
